AIRoA is a general incorporated association established in December 2024 with the mission of bringing AI × robotics foundation models and a robot data ecosystem to the world, and it began full-scale operations in FY2025.


You will be involved from the launch phase in shaping best practices for contract operations and document management in a collaborative environment that brings together major enterprises, AI startups, and university research labs.

This role offers the chance to experience both the public nature of a general incorporated association and the fast-paced, agile culture of a startup-like organization.

AIRoA was established in December 2024 with two core objectives: "to revolutionize the technology of robot development through the fusion of robots and AI" and "to promote the use of robots in society." While AI is rapidly advancing worldwide, the shortage of data in robot development has become a critical issue.


To address this challenge, we are running a national flagship project funded by NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization), with an investment of over JPY 20 billion.

Recruitment Background


At AIRoA, the number of contracts related to building a robot data ecosystem through the fusion of robotics and AI—such as joint research agreements, data use/provision agreements, and outsourcing/purchasing contracts—is rapidly increasing.


To support this, we need a core operational member who can work closely with the manager responsible for contract strategy and risk assessment, and accurately and quickly translate those policies into concrete contractual documents, ensuring they are implemented without omissions.


We are therefore seeking a new member for our Governance Team who will take ownership of contract operations and document management.

Future Mission


You will be responsible for drafting, revising, and formatting contracts, memorandums, purchase orders, and related documents, as well as organizing the contract register and folder structure, and tracking the status of ongoing deals.


Over the medium to long term, your mission will be to work with the manager to refine and standardize our operational workflows while handling documentation specific to IT, AI, and R&D projects.

契約書・覚書・発注書などの作成・修正・体裁調整、契約台帳やフォルダ構成の整備、進行中案件のステータス管理をお任せします。中長期的には、IT・AI・研究開発案件特有のドキュメント作成を進めながら、運用の型をマネージャーと一緒に磨き上げていくことがミッションです。

Requirements


Required Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience supporting the drafting and coordination of contracts, such as service / outsourcing agreements
Able to confidently edit and format contract documents using Word and Excel
Able to carefully read and understand contract content and execute tasks accurately based on that understanding

Experience using SaaS tools in daily work (e.g., Slack, Google Drive, Notion)
Experience managing multiple contract cases and tasks in parallel
Comfortable with chat-based communication and information sharing, and able to work in a style that emphasizes leaving clear logs and records

Word・Excelを用いた契約文書の編集・体裁調整が問題なく行える方
契約内容をきちんと読み解き、意味を理解したうえで正確に業務を進められる方

SaaSツールを日常業務で利用した経験(Slack・Google Drive・Notionなど)
複数の契約案件・タスクを並行して管理した経験がある方
チャットベースでのやり取りや情報共有に抵抗がなく、ログを残す働き方にフィットできる方


Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in corporate administration or as a legal assistant at an IT company or startup
Experience in PMO or contract administration support at a system integrator (SIer) or consulting firm
Experience handling R&D and IP-related documentation, as well as developing contract templates and contract registers

Our Office


We currently operate out of a spacious office and research facility of over 1,000 m² located in the Ryutsu Center area.

In this space, our business teams and engineering teams work in close collaboration, advancing both day-to-day operations and R&D with AI robots always close at hand.

The facility is frequently visited not only by members of the AI Robot Association, but also by engineers and researchers from partner companies and representatives from member companies.

As a result, it serves as a hub where diverse experts at the forefront of AI and robotics gather and interact.
