We are looking for a Channel Sales Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the growth of security products across the region. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Sales Engineer with a proven track record of collaborating with Checkpoint Channel Partners. Your responsibilities will include enabling, training, and supporting our Channel Partners to effectively position, sell, and deploy our cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. Key Responsibilities

What You Will Work On

  • Drive the execution of the APAC Systems Engineering and Channel vision by translating strategic initiatives into actionable and operational plans supported by data, systems, and metrics.
  • Develop and deliver technical training sessions, webinars, and workshops to empower Resellers and Distributors with the necessary knowledge to promote and sell our solutions
  • Facilitate the planning and preparation of partner Sales Engineers (SEs) in achieving Check Point certifications
  • Pre-Sales Support & Collaboration with Channel Partners to support pre-sales activities, including competitive analysis, test plans, demos, proofs of concept, and RFPs so that partners can be independent and maintain ownership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Channel Partners in the region, assisting them in developing sales strategies, identifying opportunities, and achieving sales targets
  • Act as a technical advisor and subject matter expert for Check Point's products, addressing complex technical queries, and providing guidance on best practices and implementation To be point of contact for deeper subject matter expert engagement.
  • Effectively communicate and highlight the advantages and distinctive features of the Check Point solution & industry trends to partners & customers across all levels, including engineering team members.
  • Work closely with the sales, channel, and marketing teams to align channel strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to drive revenue growth and expand market presence
  • Gather feedback from Channel Partners and customers to identify potential product enhancements and work with product management and development teams to improve solutions
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and provide insights to Channel Partner
  • Facilitate the promotion of upsell and cross-sell opportunities for Check Point Solutions.
  • Act as an evangelist and trusted advisor to customers, assisting them in building the best cybersecurity for their organization.

Qualifications
What you bring On Day One with Yourself

  • Proven track record working with Resellers, Distributors, or Channel Partners (Mandatory).
  • 5+ years of Sales Engineering experience within the cybersecurity industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity or Check Point's security solutions
  • Ability to engage with Partner Technical key person-level (champion) to have technical conversations for in-depth solutioning.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven thought leadership with a track record in technical content creation, including experience as a conference or meetup speaker.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to ask the right questions to clarify situations before acting or making decisions.
  • Skilled at qualifying partner needs and fostering alignment to create strong working relationships.
  • Proficient in facilitation and use of collaboration tools to gather insights and achieve outcomes.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and prioritizing amidst competing demands.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing and driving projects, with a willingness to "roll up sleeves" and demonstrate technical expertise when needed.
  • Proactive self-starter with strong relationship-building skills, thriving in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
  • Autonomous and capable of exercising discretion in operations, with a deep understanding of concepts and processes that drive organizational effectiveness.
  • Native Japanese level and fluent in English
