Tokyo Cooler Master
Overview

The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for driving Cooler Master's channel business development in Japan, ensuring strong brand presence, channel coverage, and sales growth across the PC hardware and gaming ecosystem.

This is an individual contributor role, requiring a self-motivated professional with solid experience in managing distributors, resellers, and key retail partners.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Japan's IT and retail channel landscape and be capable of executing strategic sales initiatives that align with regional and global business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Development & Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, resellers, and retail partners in Japan.
  • Manage sales performance, inventory levels, and sell-through results across key accounts.
  • Develop new business opportunities by expanding Cooler Master's product presence in both traditional and online channels.
  • Negotiate business terms, product listings, and promotional activities to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Sales Execution & Business Planning
  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales plans based on market trends and company objectives.
  • Manage pricing, promotions, and incentive programs to ensure brand consistency and healthy channel margins.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to plan and execute channel campaigns, product launches, and in-store promotions.
  • Monitor order flow, sales forecasts, and product availability to ensure smooth channel operations.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
  • Conduct regular market visits and collect insights on competitor activities, pricing, and merchandising strategies.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and potential risks, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Track performance by product category and channel type to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Internal Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work closely with HQ including Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and execution efficiency.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market updates to the APAC GM.
  • Support financial and operational tasks such as credit management, rebate claims, and return coordination.
Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT hardware, PC components, or consumer electronics channel sales.
  • Strong understanding of Japan's IT and retail channel ecosystem (e.g., Yodobashi Camera, Bic Camera, Dospara, and major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon Japan).
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver results under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in Japanese or English.

主な職務内容(Key Responsibilities)
1. チャネル開発およびアカウント管理


  • 日本国内のディストリビューター、リセラー、リテールパートナーとの強固な関係を構築・維持する。
  • 主要アカウントの販売実績、在庫レベル、セルスルー結果を管理する。
  • 従来型およびオンラインチャネルの双方で、Cooler Master製品の取り扱いを拡大し、新規ビジネス機会を開拓する。
  • 売上と利益を最大化するために、取引条件、製品リスト、販促活動を交渉・調整する。
2. 販売実行および事業計画


  • 市場動向および会社目標に基づき、年間および四半期の販売計画を策定・実行する。
  • 価格設定、プロモーション、インセンティブプログラムを管理し、ブランドの一貫性と健全なチャネルマージンを確保する。
  • マーケティングチームと連携し、チャネルキャンペーン、製品発売、店舗内プロモーションを計画・実行する。
  • 受注状況、販売予測、製品供給を監視し、円滑なチャネル運営を実現する。
3. 市場情報および競合分析


  • 定期的な市場訪問を行い、競合他社の活動、価格設定、販促戦略に関する情報を収集する。
  • 新たなビジネスチャンスや潜在的リスクを特定し、データに基づく改善提案を行う。
  • 製品カテゴリおよびチャネルタイプ別に業績を追跡し、戦略的意思決定を支援する。
4. 社内連携およびレポーティング


  • 本社(マーケティング、プロダクト、サプライチェーン)と密に連携し、整合性と実行効率を確保する。
  • APACゼネラルマネージャーに対して、定期的に販売報告、予測、市場動向のアップデートを行う。
  • クレジット管理、リベート申請、返品対応など、財務・業務関連のサポートを行う。
応募資格(Qualifications)


  • 経営学、マーケティング、または関連分野の学士号を有すること。
  • ITハードウェア、PCコンポーネント、またはコンシューマーエレクトロニクスのチャネルセールスにおける3〜5年以上の経験。

日本のITおよび小売チャネルエコシステム(例:
ヨドバシカメラ、ビックカメラ、ドスパラ、Amazon Japanなど)に関する深い理解。
