We are seeking an exceptional Enterprise Solutions Engineer to join our growing Japan team and support the expansion of our enterprise business.
In this role, you will partner closely with the sales organization to promote API-first development, guide enterprise customers in adopting best practices, and help them maximize the value of our API platform.
This is a highly collaborative position that bridges technology and business - ideal for someone who understands software development, thrives in customer-facing roles, and enjoys helping organizations modernize their API ecosystems.
Partner with enterprise sales teams to support large-scale API platform adoption across strategic accounts.
Conduct discovery sessions, product demonstrations, technical workshops, and proofs of value.
Address technical questions and provide practical solutions to enterprise customers.
Understand customer workflows and help them adopt API-first and DevOps best practices.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to represent customer feedback.
Stay current on market trends, API technologies, and the competitive landscape.
Create proofs of concept, integration examples, and technical documentation for prospective clients.
Maintain and improve sandbox environments and best practices for enterprise users.
Act as the technical bridge between sales and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
Candidate Requirement
Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise sales engineering, solutions consulting, or technical pre-sales.
2+ years of hands-on software development experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience engaging both technical and business stakeholders, including C-level executives.
Deep understanding of APIs, software development life cycles, and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of modern developer tools:
IDEs, Git, CI/CD, cloud services, and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with enterprise SaaS solutions and security best practices.
Strong problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills (verbal and written).
Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 40%).
