Kadena , Okinawa Japan


Duties:
Login/order patient lab tests
Issue collection kits
Perform phlebotomy of patients

Perform sample processing which includes:
Centrifugation
Pouring off of samples into shipping tubes
Plating microbiology samples
Preparing sample shipments
Perform/review waived clinical laboratory testing in accordance with established operating instructions (OI), ensuring reporting of accurate results within established turnaround time
Maintain records of work accomplished, time expended, and prepare/review reports as required


Qualification:
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Phlebotomy Certification or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Certificate through a nationally accredited agency
