About the role
This newly created role is critical to driving our expansion into Japan and establishing a strong local presence.
The Investment Manager will support data center investments and strategic development across Asia, evaluating opportunities, building financial models, conducting due diligence, and partnering with senior leadership to shape our regional investment strategy.
The role can be based in Japan, Singapore, or South Korea.Responsibilities
Deal Evaluation:
Assist in assessing potential investments, lead due diligence, and manage commercial negotiations.
Financial Modelling:
Develop and maintain models for project returns, tax considerations, and valuation.
Market Research:
Track industry trends, competitive activities, and pricing to inform strategic decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Prepare investment committee memos and reports for investors and leadership.
Operational Support:
Coordinate with local teams on site matters and manage communication with key partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
MBA/CFA preferred.
Japanese:
Native-level proficiency (spoken and written) is essential due to the role's responsibility for local market engagement, negotiations, and stakeholder communication.
This role can be based in Japan, Singapore, or South Korea.Experience
4+ years in corporate finance, private equity, or investment banking (digital infrastructure experience a plus).
