JR47176 Senior/Engineer, Front End Planning Site Inventory Control (Evergreen)

You will be responsible for optimizing supply to demand request as well as developing and improving the performance levels of the overall FE network probe, working with various internal and external groups to improve overall FE output performance and meeting the output commitment on time. You will be facilitating on the rolling out of key indices to Micron executives highlighting issues and mitigation plan. You will be responsible to audit and improve process efficiency and incorporate automation process into metric updates.

Metric Management

  • Optimize demand request among DRAM/NAND network fabs to improve output and minimize opex
  • Standardize and consolidate Probe Metrics performance and roll up for executive metrics' update.
  • Govern Probe Operation ground rules and audit sites
  • Partner with sites closely to enable timely communication of fab deviation to plan.
  • Improvement of efficiency of network metrics' consolidation through automation.

    • Optimize the Inventory and Line Performance for the FE Network

  • Collaborate with Site SIC and Site Probe team to improve and optimize inventory and output.
  • Forecast potential roadblocks in Probe inventory management and communicate with sites on mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with supply chain as well as Control Tower to continually improve supply/demand commitment.
  • Communication with Supply Chain and other groups on supply changes and handle demand requests.
  • Analyze line performance and provide line direction in meeting the output commitment.
  • Handle, measure, and monitor projects to ensure results and time frames are met.
  • Able to analyze line performance and provide line direction through concept of Line Management and Inventory Management to meet business plan.
  • Fluent in the basic concept of weekly wafer starts and wafer outs business process
  • Network support to improve and support BIC (Best In Class) and Inventory Management.
  • Identify, handle and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the FE Manufacturing (Wafer Out, Cycle Time).
  • Lead development of leading indicators to improve Manufacturing efficiency, develop roadmap and drive execution for improvement of these indicators.
  • Facilitate deployment of projects to improve output performance.
  • Participate in the WW inventory forums and deploy BKMs to network.
  • Own and maintain the Global Inventory Metrics, Business processes and Reports.
  • Identify gaps/constraints and make sure Fab establish and implement best known method to resolve them.
  • Promote and model the use of analytical and systematic thinking processes.
  • Create an environment of motivation to foster all countries team member's engagement to the fullest of their potential.

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field of study or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years experience in Probe Planning/Probe Manufacturing/Inventory Control/Production Planning/Line Management
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools ( Python, SQL, Tableau) to perform detailed analysis and provide metrics visibility.
  • Shown ability to make decisions, multi-task, and solve problems and address root causes.
  • Shown ability to build consensus in multi-functional groups
