We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Electrical and Electronic (E&E) engineer to lead the design and integration of advanced vehicle network systems with a focus on gateway architecture, various CAN (Controller Area Network) protocols, and Body Control areas.
Additionally, the candidate must possess experience in Engineering program management to effectively lead cross-functional projects and teams, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end software architecture decisions for next-generation Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs), ensuring scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions.
Key Responsibilities[業務内容]Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and design of SDV platforms, focusing on vehicle gateway and CAN network topologies (e.g., CAN-FD, CAN-HS, CAN-LIN)
Define and review system and software architecture for all related ECUs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, cybersecurity, diagnostic and cloud services to deliver integrated vehicle solutions
Evaluate and define software interfaces, data exchange formats, and communication strategies between ECUs and central computer platforms
Participate in platform development planning, toolchain selection, and development processes in a CI/CD environment
Perform architectural reviews and provide technical leadership to internal and supplier development teams.
Work as part of OEM team to support System Engineering activities in both ADAS and infotainment domains (Track and fulfil requests from customer, support task planning activities)
Facilitate planning for project teams to determine and define project scope and objectives, develop detailed project plans and schedules, and drive execution plans through to completion.
Proactive support to Sales, Identify, assess, and manage issues to the success of the project, know when escalation is required.
Effective Communication with relevant stakeholders both customer and internal Quest EntitiesCreating and owning and tracking of techno commercial proposals
Manage intake process for the team, work on prioritization with the team, hiring roadmap creation and related tasks

Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Overall IT Industrial experience of 15+ years with experience in automotive embedded systems, with at least 3 years in an architecture role and exposure to Project and Program management.
Deep Understanding of vehicle network architecture and multi-ECU interactionsExpertise in protocols such CAN, UDS, DoIP, Flexray, MOST, ethernet etc.
Knowledge of FOTA/OTA/SOTA framework and good software architecture skill (UML)
Familiarity with cloud-based artifacts arrangement /deployment
Communication and stakeholder management
Experience in Automotive System Engineering 5 years above
Excellent Documentation (excel/word/ppt)
Proven experience in people management across multiple teams, across time zones
Experience with process implementation, rollout, tracking progress of these processes
Fluent communication with internal / customer in both English and Japanese
Working with Global team (Cross cultural, cross functional communication) experience.

Familiar with Functional Safety, Cyber security standards
Good customer communication, tracking, follow up and process management skills
Customer front experience in Automotive is an added advantage.
