As a Service Sales Specialist for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Hiroshima, Toyota, Japan, you will be responsible for being in collaboration with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager implements Service sales strategy. The local legal entity of this position is ABB K.K. The location is in Hiroshima-shi, but company requests woking in Toyota-shi for about first 6 months.

Your responsibilities

• Penetrating IB, promoting various upgrade, retrofit and value add solutions to the benefit of the customer and ABB
• Understanding the details of the systems and equipment delivered to the customers
• Creating technical proposals to the customer to expand opportunity
• Utilizing IB database to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identifies and develops sales opportunities for Service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the market
• Planning and performing the right number of weekly sales visits, reporting them on CRM
• Generating Service sales leads and develops new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying, and exploring potential new service portfolios
• Establishing long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM)

Your background

• Technical College or University degree
• 5+ years experience in industry and service
• Open mind/ communication, Rapport building and interpersonal skills
• Communication & Coordination skill
• Loyalty, passion, stability and strong sense of integrity
• Proactive manner
• JLPT N1 level in Japanese
• English is advantage
