This role will work four days a week at an MUFG office or client site, with one day of remote work. Our recruitment team will provide more details upon selection.

Job Summary

This senior technical lead position will oversee the conceptualization, design, and delivery of innovative technology solutions. You will collaborate with other senior technical team members and developers to deliver projects that adhere to agile practices.

You will be responsible for performing complex application design and programming activities in the latest technologies, including Java, REST, Microservices, Angular, React, Spring boot, Spring Security, Kafka, Hibernate, MQ, OpenShift, AWS/Cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins.

The selected colleague will provide technical leadership, mentoring developers, making smart technology decisions, and ensuring projects adhere to continuous delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex application design and programming activities in the latest techniques: Java, REST, microservices, AWS/Cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins.
• Provide clear technical guidance with a focus on API/integration, security, and app performance.
• Ensure projects adhere to continuous delivery practices with automated unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership in terms of architecting applications, mentoring developers, making smart technology decisions, etc.

Requirements

• 8+ years of developing at all levels of the application stack (front end/UI, middle/services, back end/database).
• 4+ years as a team lead providing technical design, development guidance, coordinating across functional teams, and supporting multiple parallel initiatives.
• Minimum of 8+ years leading/managing technical software design and development experience in enterprise web application, integration services, back-end processing.
• Minimum 8 years of application design, development, and implementation.
• Minimum 5 years supporting and integrating with third-party applications using API, MQ, SFTP, SAML, Kafka.
• Minimum 5 years working with teams in building and deployment of application on OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS/Cloud infrastructure.
• Minimum 5 years working with teams in software development methodology such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Minimum 6 years' experience implementing and maintaining RESTful Microservices & APIs.
• Minimum 8 years of experience leading technical iteration on the design, development, documentation, testing, and deployment of platform user-interface features.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with batch processing with SFTP, IBM Sterling, or similar tools.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.

Compensation

The typical base pay range for this role is between $145K - $182K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
