Clinical Laboratory Instruments and Informatics Marketing
We are seeking a
strategic, results-driven Product Manager
to lead the growth of
clinical devices and informatics product line
in Japan.
What You'll Do
- Own the Strategy:
Develop and execute product strategies and marketing plans tailored for Japan, aligned with global objectives. - Discover Opportunities:
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify unmet needs and new business opportunities. - Lead the Lifecycle:
Manage products from concept to launch, including forecasting, pricing, promotion, and inventory. - Collaborate & Influence:
Work closely with sales, technical support, and clinical teams to create impactful training, tools, and customer engagement programs. - Launch with Impact:
Drive new product introductions with compelling launch plans, marketing materials, and training resources. - Analyze & Optimize:
Monitor performance, analyze data, and implement improvements to achieve revenue and profit goals. - Be the Voice of Japan:
Represent local market needs to global R&D and marketing teams, shaping global strategies. - Build Relationships:
Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), customers, and industry partners to gather insights and strengthen market presence.
What We're Looking For
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory Science, or related field (MBA preferred). - Experience:
5+ years in product management, marketing, or commercial roles within medical devices, diagnostics, or life sciences. - Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with flow cytometry and FlowJo software is a plus. - Skills:
Strong analytical ability, excellent communication and presentation skills, and proven success in strategy execution. - Languages:
Fluent Japanese and business-level English. - Mindset:
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and ready to take ownership. - Flexibility:
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

:市場調査、競合分析、顧客セグメンテーションを通じて未充足ニーズや新たなビジネスチャンスを特定。 - 製品ライフサイクル管理
:コンセプトからローンチまで、予測、価格設定、プロモーション、在庫管理を担当。 - クロスファンクション連携
:営業、技術サポート、臨床チームと協力し、効果的なトレーニングや営業ツール、顧客エンゲージメントを推進。 - 新製品の市場投入
:ローンチ計画、マーケティング資料、社内外向けトレーニング資料の作成。 - パフォーマンス分析
:売上データを分析し、改善策を提案して収益・利益目標を達成。 - 日本市場の声を届ける
:グローバルR&D・マーケティングチームにローカルニーズを提案し、戦略に反映。 - 関係構築
:KOL(キーオピニオンリーダー)、顧客、業界パートナーとの関係を強化し、インサイトを活用。
応募資格
- 学歴
:理系学士(生物学、バイオメディカルエンジニアリング、臨床検査など)、MBA歓迎。 - 経験
:医療機器、診断薬、ライフサイエンス業界でのプロダクトマネジメント、マーケティング、または関連商業職で5年以上。 - 知識
:フローサイトメトリーやFlowJoソフトウェアの経験歓迎。 - スキル
:市場データや財務指標の分析力、優れたコミュニケーション・プレゼンテーション能力、戦略実行の実績。 - 言語
:日本語(流暢)、英語(ビジネスレベル)。 - 人物像
:主体的、結果志向、責任感を持って業務を遂行できる方。 - その他
:国内外出張が可能な方。
