Effect creation for in-game and cutscenes in PC/console game development.
Includes research and testing of effect expressions, as well as tool support tasks.
Specifically:
- Create 2D/3D effects for battles, cutscenes, UI, and stages.
- Implement effects in the game engine.
- Design workflows and specifications.
- Manage outsourcing tasks, including progress tracking, quality control, and acting as the point of contact with partner companies.
Requirements
Must-have:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience creating 2D/3D effects using a game engine.
- Development experience with Unreal Engine.
Nice-to-have:
- Practical experience with effect-related tools (e.g., Maya, Houdini, After Effects, Substance 3D).
- Experience in quality control.
- Experience managing outsourcing.
- Ability to create physically-based shaders using real-time rendering.
- Practical experience in building pipelines and optimizing rendering quality.
Ideal candidate:
- Passion for games and strong affinity for SNK IPs.
- Self-driven, proactive in understanding project status and making creative and technical proposals.
- Interest in new technologies and knowledge related to effect expression.
- Strong communication skills and flexibility to coordinate effectively with others.

Working Hours
9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (7.5 hours of actual work per day)
Note: The above is an estimated working time, as this position is subject to a specialized discretionary labor system.
Holidays & Leave
