Position Overview
The Marketing Communication Specialist, Japan will be responsible for Marketing activities and its operations. This position will work across the Medical and Commercial team to implement a wide range of initiatives to streamline business processes and drive efficiencies. The role conducts congress seminars, webinars, F2F meetings, working with Event Coordinator, create Marketing Materials, make contracts, manage budget, and leading digital marketing activities. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, by partnering with their management and cross-functional team members for input and alignment.

This position will also work with Compliance, Regulatory, Legal teams to support marketing activities to proceed without any violations. This role will also manage outside vendor relations, negotiate vendor contracts with our international team.

This position will work across multiple departments; including, but not limited to, medical/commercial leadership, medical, commercial, training, communications, and other International departments.

The position reports to the Marketing Manager, Japan.

Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally and within the business operations organization.
• Effectively manage projects; including, but not limited to, managing multiple projects simultaneously, to researching vendors, providing summaries of findings, updating key stakeholders.
• Work with creative agencies to develop new leavepieces.
• Update existing materials, monitor soon-to-expire leavepieces, update virtual library, monitor stock
• Produce artwork for nomadic stands/roll up banners.
• Updates to our website pages.
• Source and get produced Exact Sciences branded materials.
• Supporting seminars as per marketing strategy.
• Arrange logistics for booking speakers, support Contracts and set up new speakers in the system with Event Coordinators.
• Produce invitation (design and Veeva approval).
• Lead set up webinar by working with vendors.
• Support to develop our website to improve CX.
• Work with 3rd party media to penetrate our product along with marketing strategy.
• Manage Marketing Team budget, spend and accruals including processing of supplier Invoices & HCP fees, support to Set up & Manage Pos, set up new vendors/HCPs.
• Analize digital related activities such as ROI, find room of improvement and so on.
• Work with Communication team to support PR activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; or High School Degree/General Education Diploma and 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of experience in medical, commercial, marketing, communications, business and/or related field relevant to the essential duties.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
• Proven working knowledge of marketing.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization and customers, build consensus among individuals and teams.
• Excellent teamwork skills and ability to integrate successfully on multiple cross functional teams.
• Strong knowledge/advanced skills in the Microsoft Suite of products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Fluency in Japanese and business level English capability, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in country where work will be performed on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time.

Employment Term: This role includes a 3-month probationary period during which employment conditions remain unchanged. Employment is on an indefinite-term contract, and a one-month notice period is required for voluntary resignation, in accordance with company policy. Employees may be required to work overtime based on business needs, including occasional holiday and weekend work, with compensation provided per company policy and local labor regulation.

Salary Range:

¥ ¥

The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. Additionally, this role includes either 30 hours of overtime per month or 10 hours of midnight work per month, depending on the position. This position is also eligible for a bonus.
