Responsibilities
The Piping 3D CAD(S3D = Smart3D) Administrator will support the Lead Piping
Engineer (LE). The Piping S3D Administrator will undertake the duties regarding S3D
related work for the LE of the Project.

Major Duties
Work as a Piping S3D Administrator for oil refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, and gas

processing and treating projects:
Set-up and maintain project environment in S3D
Set-up and maintain bulk load files for piping bulk materials by Smart Plant Materials.
Set-up and maintain bulk load files for piping specialties and instruments.
Prepare SPR (Smart Plant Review) data and Navisworks data for model review.
Set-up piping assemblies.
Prepare piping ISO and GA drawings as products
Prepare MTO interface file for Smart Plant Materials as product
Prepare Interference Check (IFC) and various kinds of reports and model review files
for checking quality of 3D models.
Troubleshooting to resolve To Do List errors.
Maintain quality of S3D models (monitoring To Do List errors, consistency between
line list and 3D models)
Prepare documentations (procedures and instructions for engineers and designers) and
coordinate piping designers and S3D operators
Coordinate and/or negotiate with clients, vendors and other discipline engineers for
S3D related problems

Knowledge and Experience
The Piping S3D Administrator shall have the following minimum experience and

knowledge:
3 years or more of experience in user support work in actual project using S3D
Knowledge of Smart Plant Materials for S3D spec/catalogs
Experience of writing and executing SQL statements for extracting reports from S3D
(Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle) and Experience of writing and executing VB or C#. NET program for S3D development.
Good English communication skills
Knowledge of standard international styles of business communication and experience in the preparation of business and technical documentation
