Department Overview
Rakuten Travel, Japan's largest online travel agency, aims to enrich people's lives through travel. To this end, the mission of the Marketing Department is to communicate the value of Rakuten Travel's services to domestic and international travelers through the most appropriate means of marketing approach and to increase the number of Rakuten Travel fans. Our goal is to turn Japanese travelers as well as travelers from all over the world into Rakuten Travel fans.

Position Details
As a CRM marketer for Rakuten Travel, you will be responsible for the following tasks.

• Developing and implementing channel communications for each user
• Membership planning
• Optimizing budget allocation and management based on demand forecasting and effectiveness measurement using various data
• Coordinating and promoting with sales, production, and other sales channel personnel

Depending on the project, you may be entrusted with the implementation of joint projects with Rakuten Group businesses.

In addition, as the project owner, you will be entrusted with a wide range of tasks and will oversee multiple projects, making it easy to realize your own ideas.

Work Environment
Customer Engagement Marketing Group: 5 members

Marketing Department: around 70 members

We are a tightknit group of individuals from various cultural backgrounds, ranging in age from 20s to 40s. Our main language of communication is Japanese + English.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 2+ years of marketing experience
• Working experience in data analysis and strategic planning(including experience extracting data using SQL, etc.)

Desired Qualifications

• Working experience in CRM
• Programming experience in Python or other languages
• Experience using English in a business

Additional Information On English Qualification
TOEIC score of 800 or higher (or proof of equivalent English proficiency, or proof of a graduate degree or higher from an English-speaking university)
