  • Contractor shall provide technical expertise in supply management and warehouse operations. Efforts directly support projects delivering and integrating new C4ISR capabilities to new or existing platforms.
  • Contractor must be able to fill-out, obtain signature, file, and send logistics documentation, not limited to DD 1149's and 1348's. Keen attention to detail is critical to ensure maintenance of an accurate equipment inventory.
  • In addition, contractor must be able to manage a pick-up and delivery schedule, subject to changes in project requirements and schedules. Contractor must be customer oriented, willing to work overtime at short notice
  • Contractor must be able to answer customer requests for warehouse support to include pick-up, delivery, disposal, and shipment. In addition to ensuring in-out transactions are accurately maintained in different databases, the contractor must also be able to transport material with a forklift and/or a truck, and be able to physically lift and move boxes of 60 lbs.
  • The contractor must be able to obtain and/or maintain a forklift and driver's license.
  • The contractor will pick-up and deliver supplies and materials on or around CFAY.
  • Contractor will prepare and submit official documents required for shipping/receiving/transfer of assets and will create and/or maintain various material and equipment inventory/databases.
  • Contractor will classify and sort material line-items for material disposal.
  • Contractor shall operate 4, 6 or 16 ton forklift to load and unload incoming and outgoing materials, to move palletized material within warehouse spaces and to transport material to and from warehouse spaces, ships' piers, barges and workshops.
  • The contractor will ensure general cleanliness of the Bldg. A-40 and J-203 warehouse.
  • The contractor will deliver material line-items to DDYJ for packaging and shipment and arrange and conduct DRMO runs to the DRMO office in Sagami.
    • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • The contractor must be customer oriented, willing to accept last minute tasking, willing to work overtime at short notice to execute pick-up, delivery, disposal, and shipment.
  • They must be able to obtain all necessary physical examinations and maintain a current and valid operator's license.
  • Contractor personnel shall possess the necessary warehousing, knowledge and skills necessary to carry out all assigned duties.
  • Contractor's personnel will possess operator's permits for the size/type vehicles to be operated. Personnel operating government-provided light trucks or sedans shall possess a valid USFJ Form 4EJ, US Forces Japan Operator's Permit for Civilian Vehicle.
  • Contractors will be required to lift items up to 60 lbs.
  • Must have a Secret Clearance for this position.
  • Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this position requires U.S. Citizenship status.
