[ Job Objective ]
Increase corporate profit though development of trustable Engine Liquid filters and Mobile Hydraulic filters which satisfy customer demand and profitability of own target.
Execution of department goal
; Drive product promotion and project execution from technical view point in professional manner to achieve the goal. Coaching to individual contributor outside own department may be required for the goal.
Organization management
; Support the daily operation to cooperate with the team member to assist manager.
Product/Technilogy promotion
; Define and execute/manage action items effectively without delay by utilizing global resources of expert to promote product/technology with excellent know-how and intellectual properties.
Product design/Project execution
; Support the product design at oversea engineering center, considering both of productivity/profitability with satisfying statement of work and scope of supply as window for Japan OE.
In addition, variant design/engineering from the other existing base design needs to be carried out by own effort with engineering support team. The drawing needs to maintenanced for any change to maintain production.
Organizational coordination
; Support any improving activity for productivity, profitability and reliability with cooperation with other local department (Sales, Production division, etc.) including technical support team (Test Lab & CAD/CAE).
FURTHER EXPECTATION
Technical Competence & Skills:
- Basic mechanical engineering
- Fluid dynamics, Liquid Filtration Technology
- Over 3 years experiences working on engineering, design or development in industrial or automotive will be preferable
Other Core Competence:
- Business communication skill
- Self-starter
- Positive mindset to influence/encourage the others
- Problem solver by leveraging own expertise and experience in the project
Others (Travel, language, etc.):
- Japanese: Fluent, Need to be Business Level - read & write Email, Technical and business documents.
- Japanese language skill should be "N2 and above" or equivalent.
- English: fluent - Communication with North & South America, APAC and EMEA is mandatory required.
- Presentation skills
- Basic knowledge for Industrial or Automotive Business is must
- Travel to domestic customer inside Japan, and oversea travel to foreign technical center are expected as part of product promotion to potential customer/projects
- Car drivers license is preferred for those travel required
