Senior Program Manager – Smart Mobility, Telematics & Advanced Automotive Technologies (Tokyo)

To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Program Manager who is passionate about technology-driven innovation, eager to lead complex international programs, and ready to grow toward broader global leadership roles within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Your mission:

Within a multicultural organization that values shared ambition and technical excellence, you will lead strategic programs involving technologies such as advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), centralized electronic architectures, connected telematics platforms, and next-generation embedded software solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the operational, technical, and financial success of your programs, while managing and mentoring two Project Managers and fostering their professional growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Strategic oversight of programs, from concept definition to industrialization, ensuring full alignment between technical performance, quality, timing, and profitability objectives.

International coordination of global teams based in Japan, Europe, and other hubs worldwide, cultivating collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.

Process optimization and risk management, driving continuous improvement and guaranteeing sustainable project success.

Coaching and team empowerment, developing the leadership and autonomy of project teams through guidance, trust, and shared accountability.

Contribution to local and regional growth, supporting the expansion of the Tokyo site and helping strengthen its position as a key innovation and development center in telematics and connected mobility.

Your profile:

With an engineering background or equivalent, you bring extensive experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs in automotive, electronics, telematics, or embedded systems domains. You combine a strategic vision with strong execution capability, demonstrating inspirational leadership, rigor, and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.

You thrive in multicultural contexts, possess excellent communication skills, and are adept at uniting diverse teams around common goals. Fluency in English is essential; Japanese language skills will be a plus, easing collaboration with local partners and teams.
