Iwakuni Valiant Integrated Services Part time
Valiant is looking for a Part Time Casual Access Control/Guard.    This position reports directly to the Site Manager or their designated representative.  An access guard duties include but not limited to:
  • Access control to the building through verification of information on authorized Access Rosters.
  • Issuance of authorized Visitor badges to the building.
  • Maintaining access logbooks for all access to building.
  • Maintain government provided Security access lists/databases.
  • Answering the telephone and responding to requests for information about the trainers and scheduled events.
  • Compile Simulator Schedule Data and create Operator Schedules for daily simulator activity.
  • Data entry for Training Device Utilization Records.
  • Data entry into Badge Access Control System.
  • Responsible to report any irregularities or problems to the Site Manager for resolution.
  • Will be responsible for the cleanliness of the guard station.
  • Work any shift and weekends as specified by Contract for this site.
  • Consideration for higher-level roles (III and II) will be based on the candidate's demonstrated experience, relevant skill set, and ability to perform duties aligned with increased responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:  Active Secret, TS/SCI preferred.

EDUCATION:  High School Diploma or equivalent certification.  

  • Must be computer literate and be able to use and access basic computer programs (Microsoft products, Excel, PDF etc.).

  • Requires mental alertness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English.

  • Must be able to work well with all levels of Military and Civilian personnel.

  • Must present a professional appearance in dress and demeanor at all times.

  • Ability to secure a US Passport

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb two (2) flight of stairs is required.

  • Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
