Randstad, partnered with a leading global financial services group, is looking for Python Full Stack Developer to join an exciting project and their IT GMIT Equity team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building high-performance, resilient financial trading systems.

■ Role description

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building high-performance, resilient financial trading systems using a modern technology stack.

■ Key Responsibilities

・Design and develop scalable microservices architecture using Python FastAPI

・Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React

・Implement high-performance data processing systems with emphasis on consistency and reliability Develop and maintain market data connectivity solutions

・Apply best practices in software architecture and design patterns

・Ensure code quality through SOLID principles and modern development practices

■ Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, with specific experience in FastAPI framework
  • Expertise in REST API design and microservices architecture
  • Advanced Typescript and development skills, including UI/UX design and wireframing
  • Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
  • Proven track record implementing caching solutions and message queues (Redis)
  • Experience with market data integration (Bloomberg, Reuters)
  • Experience working in a Scrum team (agile development)

■Desired Skills:

  • Experience with kdb+/q
  • Knowledge of trading systems and financial markets
  • Understanding of reconciliation, hedging concepts and algorithmic trading fundamentals
  • Experience working with C#/.NET, or similar OO language
  • Business Japanese

■ Technical Requirements:

  • Implementation of modular, loosely coupled architectures
  • Experience with high-performance computing and optimization
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems
  • Expertise in data consistency patterns and resilient system design

■Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant software development experience
  • Proven track record in financial technology development
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English
