Job Description: Backend Engineer (Blockchain)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer (Blockchain) to join our clinet's dynamic team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for talented individuals to contribute their expertise in backend development and blockchain technology. You will play a crucial role in building scalable and efficient systems that leverage blockchain for their projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and services that support blockchain applications.
- Implement and optimize C++ applications for blockchain indexing and data processing.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and performance.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Stay updated with the latest blockchain technologies and integration practices to continuously improve existing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backend infrastructure.
- Write and maintain clear documentation for backend processes and application functionality.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of experience in backend development.
- Proficient in C++ programming and strong understanding of blockchain technology.
- Familiarity with indexing processes in blockchain environments.
- Experience with API design and development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
Desired Experience
- Experience in software development for blockchain platforms.
- Previous experience working in an agile development environment.
- Knowledge of databases and data modeling.
- Experience with cloud services and infrastructure management is advantageous.
