We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our sales team in Tokyo as the Head of Sales for Outbrain Japan.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing sales strategy, and expanding market share in the Japanese Adtech industry.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration in Japan.
- Team Leadership and Development: Manage and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals and objectives for individual and team performance.
- Client/Agency Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Market Analysis and Business Development: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Sales Operations and Reporting: Oversee sales pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting to track performance and drive decision-making.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the Adtech industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on agency relations.
- Proven track record of establishing, growing, and maintaining deep relationships with advertising agencies.
- Strong business acumen and expertise in the Adtech ecosystem, especially relating to agency needs and customer centricity.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at both high-level strategic conversations and detailed execution discussions.
- Deep understanding of the Japanese Adtech landscape, including key players, trends, and client needs.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with native level Japanese and business level English.

- Highest salary range in the industry (¥120-150 million per annum)
