In this role, you will work in a small team to design, develop, and support a custom Web-focused application used globally in multiple factories and across workstreams. You will develop core backend infrastructure, front-end user interfaces, and visualizations to support data-driven decision making.
Key responsibilities include conducting work activities consistent with DuPont Core Values, building and maintaining the code base of a complex custom quality/manufacturing execution system, developing new features using Test-Driven development practices, and learning and adapting new technologies in support of the business.
Your qualification profile includes a BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience, excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, self-starter problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and eagerness to learn and support the innovation strategy. Familiarity with C#, Microsoft dotnet, PowerShell, Python, NodeJS/Vue, or SQL is also required. Additional qualifications include experience with object relational mapping, knowledge of common UX principles, and experience with process data historians, LIMS, SAP, OPC, serial, or TCP communication. 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in manufacturing or related industry, is also required. Language ability in Japanese with business level is required, with Korean or Mandarin being a plus.
