Department Overview
The FinTech System Strategy Department is a division that provides strategic support for the Rakuten Group's FinTech business. Our vision is to enhance synergies between FinTech services and further expand the Rakuten ecosystem. We collaborate with various group companies responsible for financial services, focusing on strategy, planning, development, and marketing to enhance synergies between FinTech services.
This position allows for a broad overview of various businesses, enabling involvement in a wide range of services and the acquisition of extensive knowledge. Additionally, it offers an environment where one can grow through interactions with various individuals supporting Rakuten's FinTech business across departmental boundaries.
In our Security Promotion Group, we enhance the defense capabilities against cybercriminals within Rakuten's FinTech business and provide secure services, thereby benefiting all users of the Rakuten Group.
Position
Position Details
In this position, you will collaborate with various FinTech companies to enhance defense capabilities against cybercriminals by implementing the latest security measures required in the financial industry. You will work with departments supporting the systems to manage and promote CSIRT activities and security enhancement initiatives.
Responsibilities Include
- Planning and managing the implementation of security enhancement measures
- Leading incident response
- Reporting status to the CISO and committees
- Reviewing the design and implementation of security functions for core and information systems
Mandatory Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of security technologies
- Experience in security management
- Experience in project management
- Basic knowledge of risk management or system auditing
- Experience in security operations such as incident response and log analysis
- Experience in information security risk analysis
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of ISMS, JSOX, and PCIDSS
- Experience in fraud prevention for payment systems, etc.
- Experience in the information systems department
- Experience in information security-related work at financial institutions
- Various information security certifications (CISA, CISSP, etc.)
- Experience in managing CSIRT (SOC) or CSIRT operations
- Experience in designing, building, and operating information systems
- Experience with security products and services
- Experience as a security consultant
