Job Summary
Utilize your expertise and analytical skills to strategically and tactically manage programs and processes. As a trusted advisor, you will excel in solving complex business challenges in the finance controllers technology domain, leveraging data-driven decisions and a risk-aware mindset. Proficiency in financial accounting and a passion for working with cloud technologies are essential.
Major Responsibilities
- Act as a lead system analyst, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and the technology team
- Proactively shape the future project direction
- Conduct thorough requirement walkthroughs and ensure user consensus
- Validate that functional requirements are successfully met
- Lead formal implementation reviews and anticipate potential issues
- Provide user training and internal consulting support
- Work on enterprise-wide projects requiring process improvement expertise
- Collaborate on complex projects to drive process enhancements across various business areas
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelors' Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or a degree in financial accounting with relevant technology experience
- Over 10 years of experience in financial accounting with a strong background in Oracle ERP systems
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services Technology with expertise in General Ledger functions
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP Financials Financial Accounting Hub and cloud architecture
- Proficient in RDBMS databases like Oracle and SQL Server
- Skilled in designing ad-hoc reports and templates, preferably SmartView or OBIEE reports
- Knowledge of Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.) is a plus
- Ability to uncover and manage stakeholders' needs effectively
- Action-oriented with a focus on issue resolution
- Experience in technology systems implementations and communication with business partners
- Comfortable operating in dynamic environments and driving decisions
The base salary range for this role is $120K - $145K, with additional performance-based incentives available.
