It combines real-time communication tools with a wide range of online services, including news, shopping, financial technology, and entertainment. Serving millions of users across Japan, the platform plays a central role in daily digital life—offering secure messaging, mobile payments, and personalized content delivery.
■ Your Role and Responsibilities
Design, implement, and deliver large-scale, complex systems that meet business and technical requirements.
Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other teams to support system design and development.
Leverage infrastructure solutions to solve large-scale challenges.
Share technical knowledge and best practices with the team, conducting code reviews, and participating in knowledge sharing sessions.
Debug and resolve product issues, troubleshooting any technical issues in a timely manner.
Demonstrate a problem-solving mindset, going to the root cause of issues and continuously improving the systems.
Support the code you write in production, ensuring reliability and performance in live environments.
■ Experience and Qualifications
Strong experience in object-oriented programming (OOP), preferably in JVM-based languages like Java, Scala, or C#.
Solid knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, and high-traffic system design.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Pub/Sub systems, and database clients.
Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
Knowledge of RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and distributed caching solutions.
Proficient in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Familiarity with AWS services (ECS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch) and CI/CD practices.
Experience in designing scalable systems and handling high traffic loads.
A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or 3+ years of equivalent SaaS platform development experience.
Business proficiency in English.
