About Organization
We are part of the Portfolio & Strategy Office (PSO) Division within Rakuten Mobile Inc, and we function as a cross functional collaboration team developing and implementing Business Processes and Strategies for the Network Division. The Team designs processes by leveraging Industry Best Practices, Benchmarking and Ideating with references to ITIL /eTOM frameworks.
We design & develop network and operation processes, enable process adoption and governance, life cycle management of processes and process digitization. Conduct periodic process audits & training.
We are also involved in risk assessment, problem solving, and analytical solutions to drive value for the organization. Team leverages the industry best practices, tools, and frameworks (eTOM, ITIL, etc.) to create the best-in-class processes and advisory solutions.

Job duties

As a Senior Consultant, you will work on projects that help Rakuten Mobile integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs, improve profit and shareholder value. Identify areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency within projects. Understand Rakuten Business needs, objectives, and challenges through effective communication and collaboration. Communicate project goals, strategies, and progress effectively to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ensure alignment between project objectives and Rakuten Mobile's business needs.

Minimum Qualification


• 6+ years in management consulting for Telecom/IT.

• Strong background in business and IT process excellence, demonstrating a deep understanding of process optimization and improvement

• Proven experience in eTOM (enhanced Telecom Operations Map) process implementation, showcasing expertise in telecom-specific operational frameworks

• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks, indicating familiarity with best practices for IT service delivery and support.

• Skills in crafting and executing digital transformation strategies.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, highlighting the ability to adapt and work in an iterative, collaborative, and flexible project management environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualification


• MBA from Tier 1 Institute

• Graduate in Engineering or equivalent from a top-tier college

• Stakeholder management and effective communication skills.
