Key Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing functions to ensure compliance, efficiency, and future-readiness of site operations
Drive strategic planning and resource allocation aligned with site and Novartis Technical Operations goals
Oversee daily shop floor operations and optimize production schedules based on workload and risks
Promote Lean culture through visual management, standard work, and continuous improvement practices
Manage complex MES systems and cross-functional teams to support electronic batch record execution
Establish and maintain aseptic manufacturing processes to ensure product sterility and regulatory compliance

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing leadership, especially in aseptic processing and team development
Strong knowledge of GMP, HSE, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence initiatives
Expertise in managing MES and electronic batch record systems across complex manufacturing setups
Business-level proficiency in English for global collaboration and reporting
Ability to embody company culture and guide the team in the right direction during department launch
