We are looking for a skilled
Senior Engineer
to join a critical environmental compliance service for our partner, a global leader in consumer technology.
In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex environmental data into clear, actionable insights. You will ensure that the products enjoyed by millions are compliant with global standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage compliance requirements directly in partner systems, ensuring accuracy for packaging markings and regional specifications
- Gather data for material and product evaluations by collecting necessary documentation from partner systems and cross-functional teams
- Coordinate testing activities, including creating test tickets, managing sample requests, and maintaining material qualification data
- Create and manage critical documentation for product launches and certifications, including disassembly guides, energy submissions, and SOPs
- Develop and enhance data visualizations, dashboards (e.g., Tableau, JIRA), and reports to provide clear insights into compliance status
Requirements
- Experience managing compliance data and documents, ideally with supply chain partners
- Experience in product compliance management, including the ability to break down product components into individual materials and trace their quality and origins
- Strong data validation skills, including reviewing supplier-provided data and verifying accuracy at the material or component level
- Strong analytical mindset and passion for data-driven decision-making
- Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and highly cross-functional environment
- Fluency in Japanese (JLPT N1) and business-level English, both written and verbal.
- Technical background with hands-on experience in data gathering, documentation, and reporting
Nice to have
- Awareness of computer science fundamentals
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with the electronics manufacturing lifecycle
