アマゾンジャパン オペレーションズ部門のEF(External Fulfillment)オペレーションチームでは、チームをリードし、EF拠点のオペレーション管理・改善を行うマネージャーを募集します。

EFチームは、Amazonのお客様が注文した商品の注文処理・配送業務を自社の物流拠点(FC、フルフィルメントセンター)ではなく、メーカー/ 卸売企業の倉庫内や協力会社(以下3PL)の運営する倉庫で行うExternal Fulfillment(外部サイトから顧客への直接出荷)のサービスを拡張することによって、コスト削減、配送スピードの向上、セレクションの拡充、そしてお客様の満足度の向上に貢献しています。

このポジションでは、アマゾンの出荷・在庫能力の一翼を担うEF拠点の運営管理・改善、ピープルマネジメントを通じたメンバー育成が主要な業務になります。マネージャーとして多様なメンバーが能力を発揮できる組織の仕組み作りやカルチャーの醸成を推進いただける方を求めています。

【業務内容】

1.外部委託するオペレーションの標準化を行い、管理指標に基づいた安全な職場環境作り、品質管理、在庫・出荷計画の遂行に責任を持ちます。

  • プロジェクトメンバーとして社内外の取り組みに参加します。案件によっては、プロジェクトオーナーとして広く部門・チーム横断的な取り組みをリードします。
  • マネージャーとしてチームメンバーの育成に責任を持ちます。またチーム全体のDEI文化の醸成に向けた取り組みにも参加して頂きます。

年次、月次、週次で作成されたマスタープランに基づき、達成するべき要件(安全、品質、入荷・出荷の能力、在庫キャパシティ、コスト)毎に個別計画を明確にし、3PL各社のオペレーションが円滑に遂行されることに責任を負います。

また日々のオペレーションを管理するだけでなく、新しいサービスやプログラムの導入、新規拠点の立ち上げなど、3PL各社との調整のみならず、広く社内の他部門(リテールビジネス、セラービジネス、配送オペレーション、ファイナンス、リーガル、人事など)ともコミュニケーションを取り、プロジェクトの立上げから管理運営を行います。

【働き方について】

The EF (External Fulfillment) Operations Team of the Amazon Japan Operations Division is looking for managers to lead the team and manage and improve operations at EF sites.

The EF team reduces costs, improves delivery speed, expands selection, and customer satisfaction by expanding external fulfillment (direct shipment from an external site to a customer) service that performs order processing and delivery operations for products ordered by Amazon customers not at its own logistics base (FC, fulfillment center), but in warehouses operated by manufacturers/wholesalers or warehouses operated by partner companies (3PL) It has contributed to the improvement of.

In this position, the main tasks are operation management and improvement of EF bases, which play a part in Amazon's shipping/inventory capabilities, and member development through people management. We are looking for someone who can promote the creation of an organizational structure and culture where diverse members can demonstrate their abilities as managers.

[Business content]

  • We standardize outsourced operations, create a safe work environment based on management indicators, and are responsible for quality control and execution of inventory/shipping plans.
  • As a project member, you will participate in internal and external initiatives. Depending on the project, I will lead a wide range of cross-departmental/team initiatives as a project owner.
  • As a manager, you are responsible for developing team members. You will also participate in efforts aimed at fostering a DEI culture for the entire team.

Based on master plans created on an annual, monthly, and weekly basis, individual plans are clarified for each requirement to be achieved (safety, quality, receiving/shipping capacity, inventory capacity, cost), and we are responsible for the smooth execution of the operations of each 3PL company.

Furthermore, in addition to managing daily operations, we not only coordinate with each 3PL company, such as introducing new services and programs, launching new locations, etc., but also communicate widely with other departments within the company (retail business, seller business, delivery operations, finance, legal, human resources, etc.), and manage and operate projects from inception.

The most important point of this job is to quickly respond to changes and lead. By collaborating with 3PL companies, the EF team works with high flexibility on new businesses and products that are difficult to handle at their own logistics bases (FC), and supports Amazon's business growth strategy by quickly setting up EF locations, contributing to the improvement of customer satisfaction.

[About how to work]

As a general rule, working hours are 9:00 to 18:00, and I work 1-2 days a month on Saturdays and Sundays (take paid time off)

It is possible to Remote work 1 to 2 days a week. There are also business trips for business reasons such as project support and site checks, etc., but it is an environment where you can work with a sharp focus.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in training staff or leading a team, regardless of industry (3 years or more of work experience)
  • Experience managing about 5 people (including attendance and performance management)
  • Experience in implementing operational kaizen and standardization based on quantitative data analysis
  • Intermediate level or higher in PC skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot, macros in Excel, etc.)
  • Reading and writing level English
