Job DescriptionBusiness System Analyst position available for a long-term contract. The role requires a 100% working rate, with a hybrid work arrangement in Chuo-ku, Tokyo. The salary will be skill-based.
- Interface between IT and Business teams to discuss project requirements.
- Understand current applications and their business implications, sharing knowledge with IT and DQ teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various applications.
- Stay up-to-date with web technologies and programming languages.
- Provide functional guidance and share application understanding with IT developers and DQ team members.
- Analyze user requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
- Implement best practices in software development, including Agile methodologies.
- Utilize domain knowledge in Life and Annuities Insurance to enhance application relevance and user experience.
- At least 11 years of experience in application projects.
- Experience in reviewing existing code and converting it into a functional requirement document for rewrite.
- Good understanding of the Life and Annuities Insurance domain.
- Experience in RDBMS, JavaScript, or Java is a plus.
- Understanding of REST-based microservices is a plus.
- Experience in OOPS concepts, Web API, or Entity Framework is a plus.
- Good understanding of software implementation best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commitment to achieving excellence in software development and customer satisfaction.
