Institutional Oversight Team Overview

The Institutional Oversight team plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless onboarding, portfolio accounting, and management of institutional client relationships. As the primary point of contact for all operations-related client inquiries, this team handles a diverse range of clients and complex products, including equities, fixed income, currencies, and derivatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage client accounts from an AWM Operations perspective, coordinating events and issues across teams and partners to ensure effective oversight.
• Coordinate tasks across multiple teams to set up systems and receive operational information prior to account trading activity.
• Ensure accounting data accuracy and provide policy oversight to maintain a controlled environment for investment management processes.
• Support trading desks and sales teams with ad-hoc queries and ongoing initiatives.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues before they impact clients.
• Review account-level metrics, reconciliations, and reporting deliverables to escalate and remediate exceptions as needed.
• Provide governance and transparency for client collections by overseeing open receivables and coordinating with distribution teams.
• Apply process reengineering methodologies to execute strategies and tactical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Fluency in written and verbal Japanese, and business-level English.
• 1+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Previous experience in Operations and/or Financial Services industry.

• Able to partner across product groups, regions, and functional responsibilities.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
