About the Role
We are hiring a senior technology leader to drive enterprise-scale digital transformation, leading global engineering teams and shaping the future of cloud-native, AI-driven platforms.
This is a build, transform, scale, and lead role — with full ownership across people, technology, architecture, and delivery.You will lead distributed full-stack engineering teams across multiple countries, define modern engineering culture, and deliver mission-critical platforms that power business transformation at scale.
What You Will LeadPeople & Culture
Lead and grow global full-stack engineering teams
Build elite engineering culture (upskilling, hiring, retention, reskilling)
Drive Agile mindset, modern delivery practices, and engineering excellence
Business & Stakeholder Leadership
Partner with senior business stakeholders on digital transformation strategy
Own product backlog prioritization and delivery governance
Manage key technology vendors, SaaS partners, and strategic providers
Technology & Architecture Ownership
Own E2E software lifecycle:
Architecture → Design → Development → Testing → Production
Drive cloud-first, AI/data-driven, modern architecture strategies
Lead adoption of:
Cloud-native platforms (Azure / Public Cloud)
AI / Data platforms
API-first architecture
Microservices
Modern web & mobile stacks (Java / React)
Engineering Excellence
Lead technical design & solution architecture
Define best practices, standards, and engineering frameworks
Ensure security, privacy, resilience, and compliance by design
Own DR, stability, scalability, and platform reliability
Lead production incident resolution and platform stability strategy
Enterprise Collaboration
Partner with Cyber Security, IT Security, Data, Infrastructure, Risk, Compliance, Audit
Deliver secure, resilient, compliant enterprise platforms
Drive transformation across people, process, and technology
Experience
10–15+ years leading software engineering organizations
Proven leadership in digital transformation
Experience in financial services or complex regulated environments preferred
Strong background in:
Cloud-native architecture
Public cloud (Azure preferred)
AI / Big Data
API platforms
Web & mobile applications (Java / React)
Experience building mission-critical, secure, highly resilient platforms
Deep understanding of:
CI/CD
Agile delivery
Domain-driven design
Test-driven development
Language
Business-level bilingual: English & Japanese
