Job Title: Qoo10/MOVE Team Leader

eBay, the global e-commerce leader, is expanding its presence in Japan by acquiring Qoo10.jp in 2018.

We are seeking talent to lead the growth of MOVE by Qoo10 (Fashion Category) in this rapidly growing business.

Role and Objectives:

• Oversight of the entire MOVE business with short-term, mid-term, and long-term strategies.

Main responsibilities include online market management as one of the leading marketplaces, specifically in the Fashion category, utilizing expertise in business and industry to accelerate sales and business growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage team profitability and achieve growth targets.
• Lead the team, promote various business initiatives, and collaborate effectively with internal and external resources.
• New account acquisition for major apparel and fashion retailers.
• Partnerships, proposals, and contract signing with major apparel and fashion companies.
• Continuous liaison for product development, marketing, and campaign operations.
• Business improvement through execution and bird's-eye view.
• Managerial responsibility for 2-3 team members.

Required Experience:

• At least 10 years of working experience.
• Experience as a manager or human resources manager for at least 3 years (managing Japanese team members).
• At least 3 years of experience in sales-related positions.
• Fashion industry knowledge.
• Native-level business Japanese language skills (conversation, reading, writing).

Education:

• The position requires working two days from home and three days in the office. If you have a child under the age of 18, you may be eligible to work from home three days a week under certain conditions. However, full remote work options are not available.
• Those living far away will need to relocate to the Tokyo metropolitan area (relocation costs will be borne by the individual).
• We have implemented a time difference work system. You can choose your start and end times between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM every day.
