As a Chef, you will oversee all food preparation, cooking, and quality control in the hotel's kitchen. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a team of subordinate staff, including sous chefs, cooks, and stewards
• Preparing food, cutting, and maintaining daily mise-en-place
• Inspecting and cleaning food preparation areas, ensuring safe personal hygiene and sanitary food-handling practices
• Implementing HACCP, labeling, FIFO/FEFO practices, and hygienic handling and storage of equipment and utensils
• Ensuring the highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparations
• Familiarizing yourself with new products, recipes, and preparation techniques
• Having full knowledge of all menu items, daily highlights, and promotions
• Operating all electrical and mechanical equipment in the kitchen, observing safety precautions
• Reporting any hazards, unsafe working conditions, or equipment requiring repair or maintenance to the immediate supervisor
