Job Description

This role will be based on-site in Osaka, supporting one of our largest projects in the region and will provide direct support to the on-site project team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of our services. 安全衛生マネージャーとして、当社日本事業が請け負う大規模プロジェクトの建設工事施工現場にて、安全衛生管理業務をご担当していただきます。

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily walks around project site on all floors to inspect safety
  • Record and report on safety infringements
  • To manage Health & Safety Systems on a large-scale construction project; and assist the Construction Manager with the implementation of HS procedures carried out on-site.
  • To ensure that work methods are carried out in accordance with legal and company requirements.
  • To ensure that work methods are carried out in accordance with the main contractor's contracted scope and MSs.
  • To conduct and ensure appropriate checks of training and competence are carried out for both site staff and sub-contractors
  • To produce daily floor by floor reports of HSE infringements.
  • Responsible for routine inspection and monitoring the site and all work activities.
  • To assist in the identification of significant factors affecting the project design and help with the design risk assessment.
  • Manage contractor's HSE team.

安全衛生マネージャーとして、当社日本事業が請け負う大規模プロジェクトの建設工事施工現場にて、安全衛生管理業務をご担当していただきます

業務詳細:

  • 建設現場の安全パトロール
  • 不安全行動の報告及び記録
  • 現場担当のCMr(コンストラクション・マネージャー)とともに、大規模建設プロジェクトの安全衛生管理システムの導入と実施
  • 当社安全衛生方針と安全衛生法に準じた作業方法が行われている確認
  • 施工作業が設計会社との契約通りのスコープ及びMSで行われている確認'
  • 現場スタッフの安全衛生教育が実施されている確認
  • 日々の安全衛生点検パトロール報告の書類作成
  • 現場の安全衛生点検および専門的な視点を持って施工作業の監視をお任せします
  • 設計時のリスクアセスメント作成に必要な、プロジェクト設計に影響を及ぼすリスクの特定
  • 設計会社の安全衛生担当者の管理
Qualifications
  • Site based role.
  • Physically fit. (Approx. 70% of the time will be on construction floors walking the project)
  • Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety rules, DOSH, NEBOSH etc. and local HSE registration
  • Minimum of years' experience in a Construction Safety role with experience in working on at least a full cycle of greenfield high tech manufacturing project such as data center, clean rooms, laboratory, hospital etc.
  • Strong understanding of working practices and safety on projects, Inc. risk assessments, Method Statements, employee and manager training, and safety auditing
  • Good communication skills in Japanese and English language, both written and oral
  • Strong leadership skills to influence different groups of people to ensure HS compliance on site
  • Strong constitution, both physical and mental; physically and emotionally challenging environment
  • Able to patiently teach workers from numerous regional countries who have limited language ability and no HSE understanding.

  • 体力に自信のある方(現場での立・歩き作業が主な業務内容となります)
  • 労働安全衛生法に詳しい方、DOSH・NEBOSHなどの資格をお持ちの方は歓迎します
  • 施工現場の安全管理の経験が8年以上ある方。グリーン フィールド (未開発用地 ) ハイテク製造プロジェクト(データセンター・研究所・病院など)の経験があると尚好
  • は施工企画書建設プロジェクトに特化した安全管理の知見がある方。リスク・アセスメント、メソッド・ステートメント、研修企画、安全点検の知識含む
  • 日本語と英語、両方でのコミュニケーションが可能な方
  • 現場での安全衛生コンプライアンスを確保するためのリーダーシップ能力をお持ちの方
  • 現場スタッフと言語が伝わりにくく、安全衛生の知識もない場合があるため、根気よく教育ができる方
