Job Requirements
As an IVI Functional Lead, you will have end-to-end responsibility for IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) software functionality across multiple modules including media, radio, connectivity, HVAC, navigation, HMI control, etc. You will lead cross-functional feature development teams, ensure timely delivery, drive integration, and act as the technical liaison between product management, UX/UI design, systems engineering, and software development teams.
Responsibilities
• UI design
• Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides and corporate identity standards to ensure consistent brand expression across cross-platform environments.
• Develop high-fidelity mockups, style guides, design systems and interactive prototypes
• Transform your designs into functional UI components
• Effectively apply color theory, typography, and layout principles
• UX
• Conduct user research, persona development, and usability testing to guide design decisions
• Create wireframes, journey maps, and information architecture documents
• Optimized workflow, interaction, and navigation structure to improve usability
• Ensure compliance with UX guidelines, accessibility standards, and platform-specific design requirements (e.g., material design, automotive HMI guidelines)
Work Experience
• 4+ years of work experience in UI/UX design
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of prototyping tools (Figma, InVision, or equivalent)
• A solid understanding of design principles, UX research methodologies, and human-centered design.
• Experience with responsive design, cross-platform UI design, and component libraries.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines and respond to feedback.
• Knowledge of HMI, digital cockpit, infotainment systems or connected car functionality.
• Work closely with engineers, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and integrity.
