Role Description
We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Specialist to join our on-site team in Kobe.

This role is designed for individuals who aim to become a key driver in developing and expanding the US market, while also supporting existing markets.

The position is structured to allow candidates with different experience levels to grow into the role.

Depending on background, responsibilities may begin with hands-on sales activities and on-the-job training (OJT) in the Japanese market, then expand toward international business development.

A core part of this role is market research using various ideas and methods, such as testing sales approaches, analyzing customer behavior, gathering application insights, and evaluating go-to-market strategies, rather than relying on a single fixed framework.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and support distributor and end-user relationships, primarily with a view toward US market growth
Engage in sales activities through OJT, starting from the Japanese market and expanding to international markets
Identify and evaluate market opportunities using diverse ideas and research methods (customer interviews, sales data, application trends, trial approaches, etc.)
Support and gradually lead sales and marketing initiatives for overseas markets, especially the US
Collaborate internally to align market findings with product positioning and commercial strategy

Qualifications
Interest in building and growing international markets, particularly the US
Sales, marketing, or business development experience is welcome, but not mandatory
Openness to learning through hands-on sales activity and experimentation
Ability to think flexibly and explore multiple approaches to market research and customer development
Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred
Business-level Japanese required; English communication skills are highly desirable
