Role and Responsibilities
- Regularly update senior management on ad revenue streams, particularly in the Japanese market
- Analyze data to spot trends and growth opportunities in the Ad Business, aiding teams in achieving their objectives
- Support quarterly/annual planning by organizing and analyzing internal/external data
- Collect insights from competitor research and relevant industries (media, mobile apps, etc.)
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring Ad Business health and performance
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in strategy consulting, technology firms, ad monetization analytics, or related fields
- Interest and proficiency in data analysis, metrics, and industry trends
- Ability to translate analysis findings into business recommendations with strong communication skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with different teams
- Comfortable interpreting various data sources and creating cohesive stories
- Proficiency in SQL and large dataset extraction
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese and business-level English
Nice to have experience
- Prior experience in advertising strategy, operations, or finance
- Proficiency in Python or R
