DescriptionPurpose & Scope: The People Partner Cluster Lead is responsible for managing a team of People Partner and/or People Operations Specialist for a cluster of countries. They are accountable for providing support and resolution to all escalated People Partner related activities and scope.
Key Accountabilities:
•Accountable for the performance of the People Partner and/or People Operations Specialist team in line with agreed levels of service to ensure an excellent service is provided to customers.
•Accountable for managing the supply and demand of the People Partner and/or People Operations Specialist resource pool to support HRBPs and CoEs to execute the delivery of cyclical HR processes, business change and in-country projects.
People Management:
•Ensure that work is allocated effectively across the People Partner Team to support efficient delivery of services.
•Develop, implement and monitor service standards to ensure that support and services are provided in line with the agreed levels of performance.
•Ensure that People Partners are communicated with and informed of all new information relating to HR products, procedures, projects, customer needs and specific business needs.
Case Management, Employee Relations & Labour / Industrial Relations:
•Identify and analyse legal and compliance risks in employment situations and where appropriate partner with Employee Relations, Legal or Ethics & Compliance to mitigate accordingly.
•Provide support to ER CoE with management of Unions / Works Council through bringing knowledge of HR landscape in country.
•Act as a point of escalation for case management queries that can't be answered by the People Partner Team and own through to resolution.
Cyclical HR Processes:
•Oversee execution and delivery of cyclical HR processes (e.g., talent, performance and reward cycles).
•Act as a thought partner to HRBPs & CoEs to ensure global solutions work locally and that local HR requirements are met.
Business Change Projects:
•Oversee delivery of end-to-end organisational change projects, working with People Partner team, SMEs and HRBPs (i.e. restructures, outsourcing, redundancy).
Line Manager Coaching:
•Coach line managers in employee processes to drive self-service and adherence to HR process & policy.
•Where appropriate, provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues and policy interpretation.
Country HR:
•Delivery of local / in-country HR support services where required, e.g. provide local HR signatory and manage any hard copy employee file documentation requirements / conduct exit interviews and take appropriate actions.
•Provide input / SME knowledge into HR policy creation / review, from a statutory / legal perspective. Proof-read translations of HR policy documentation and provide country specific technical HR guidance where needed.
Ways of Working:
•Keep up to date with employment law and employment law trends.
•Promote a continuous improvement mind-set across the People Partner Team.
•Collaborate with HRBPs and CoEs to provide the appropriate level of support required.
Estimated salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
