Global fintech provider delivering algorithmic risk management solutions to Japan's leading financial institutions through SaaS B2B platform.
The Role
Design and implement infrastructure solutions (on-premise/cloud) for banking clients on projects spanning 6 months to 2 years
Lead technical discovery sessions with risk managers and engineering teams at major Japanese financial institutions
Participate in pre-sales activities and product demonstrations alongside the Head of Sales
Provide production support and troubleshooting for live client environments
Collaborate with global development teams while serving as technical anchor for Japan market
Your Skills
Native-level Japanese (essential for domestic financial institution communication) and conversational English (for global team collaboration)
Strong programming skills in Java and Python with packaged software implementation experience
Infrastructure sizing and architecture planning capabilities (servers/cloud deployments)
Client-facing technical consultation experience
Valid work authorization in Japan (citizenship, PR or appropriate visa)
Bonus:
Financial services background, risk management systems experience or work at bank IT subsidiaries (SMBC tech, Mizuho tech, etc.)
