About the job
Senior Engineering Manager will have a responsibility for developing new industrial process and designing new process/equipment or modifying existing one. The role can include collecting data required on the process, overseeing the construction, calculating the engineering factor, supervising plant operation, investigating and troubleshooting plant/process problems, assessing safety and environmental issues, liaising with installation/project engineers and specialists, and ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety.

• Base will be considerable on Osaka / Hino / Atsugi in Japan, but he/she will cover Japan country.
• Develop engineering solutions to reduce operations cost, improve quality and drive sustainability targets
• Manage Projects > 5.0 Meuro per annum, select engineering companies and suppliers that are capable and effective.
• Manage Project Teams and Stakeholders across APAC with diverse nationalities.
• Support the Henkel sites to enhance the process safety engineering
• Support the Henkel sites to enhance the maintenance excellence
• Lead the process design for new process or to improve the existing process
• Support / Lead the capital project related in the maufacturing site
• Assess the manufacturing process and develop the idea
• Support the site to understand What Good Engineering Look Like

適したスキル

• BSC In engineering discipline, or Masters
• Business level English and native Japanese
• 10 years' experience in plant improvement projects and plant operations.
• Process Design Skills, Knowledge of Lean, and problem-solving capabilities A3, Six Sigma. Experience with hazardous and toxic materials and how to mitigate affects.
• Engineering Leadership, Project Management and Project engineering
