About the location:

About the role:

The Host(ess) is the first interaction for guests in our Restaurants, and is the designer of memorable experiences. This role is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests.

What you will do:

Set up host and hostess stand, review guest reservation book, and make recommendations as to the set-up of the room, maintain a station chart and cover count for the restaurant while recognizing the maximum workload capacity of each server in order to meet Four Seasons Service standards.

Answer telephones according to Four Seasons standards and take guest reservations or provide information regarding the restaurant or any other hotel service

Inspect and maintain daily menus to ensure quality, condition and appearance while developing a complete working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials

Table solution management.

Menu updates and Menu upkeep.

Inventory of all stationaries.

Create and print guest menus.

Go beyond guest expectations creating memorable moment.

Take care of guest's belongings, manage the cloak room.

Manage guests lost and found following procedures.

Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Restaurant and Bars.

What you bring:

Require a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.

Require a working technical knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and Four Seasons Internal Controls, Policies and Procedures as they relate to Cashiering. Working knowledge is generally learned on the job.

Ability to operate fax, scanner, copier, telephone, adding machine, calculator.

Require knowledge of and the ability to operate computer equipment and Microsoft Office Suite software and the reservations system.

Ability to read, write and speak English.

Requires a working knowledge of the restaurant aspect of Four Seasons services, policies or operations and general knowledge of the hotel. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.

Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language

Answer the phone in a professional cautious manner.

Schedule & Hours:

• 40 working hours per week.
