This role supports TGTS repair shop operation on sourcing activities.

To ensure that all materials/parts, tooling and supplies required by Operations/Production are efficiently and effectively purchased locally and from overseas.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management
Identify, develop, and onboard new suppliers to expand vendor base
Conduct negotiations to secure optimal pricing, terms, and service agreements
Manage end-to-end buying processes and follow key performance indicators (KPIs)
Purchase Order Management
Process purchase requisitions accurately and efficiently
Issue purchase orders in compliance with company policies and procedures
Supplier Performance & Relationship Management
Monitor supplier fulfillment performance and delivery schedules
Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve payment and invoicing issues
Maintain comprehensive supplier databases and track performance KPIs
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
Conduct regular vendor performance reviews to ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for procurement processes and systems
Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience
Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in an engineering manufacturing environment
Technical Skills
Proficiency in SAP system (preferred)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Strong computer literacy and adaptability to new systems
Language Requirements
Professional proficiency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal communication)

Strong negotiation and analytical abilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
