Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the identification and evaluation of current policies and business processes, and design of the Quality Management System.
- Follow the organization's HS&E policies, procedures and mandatory instructions, to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the wellbeing of oneself and others in the workplace.
- Validate new or existing complex test methods and procedures, and identify issues and recommend improvements.
- Explain the local action plan to support team members in their understanding of what needs to be done and how this relates to the broader business plan and the organization's strategy, mission and vision.
- Carry out a specified range of complex tests, and interpret test data to verify that specifications are met and/or to identify remedial actions required to ensure conformance.
- Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them.
- Identify instances of non-compliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and escalate issues as appropriate.
Requirements:
- University degree (First degree)
- Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised
- Experience of general supervision of more junior colleagues
- Ability to work without supervision and provide technical guidance when required
- Comprehensive knowledge and skills to independently manage and apply safe systems of work
- Ability to analyze data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making
- Ability to identify, assess, prioritize and manage risks in a production process
