Job Description:

The Leisure Product Department (LPD) is a hub for innovation and technology, handling lifestyle and leisure related services that are category leaders in the Japanese market.

We aim to grow globally and become world leaders through our services, which include Rakuten GORA: Golf course reservation service, Rakuten Beauty: Salon reservation service, Rakuten Keiba: Horse racing online betting service, Rakuten Kdreams: Cycle racing online betting service, and Rakuten toto/lottery: toto/lottery online sales service.

To achieve this goal, we need a robust and scalable system to support the rapid growth of our services. This requires a bigger team with high-level engineering skills, focusing on maintaining and supporting complex systems.

We are looking for an experienced full-stack reliability engineer who can work on large-scale systems, understand the importance of system maintenance, and collaborate with diverse teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing features, handling operations, performing load and performance tests, and interacting with cross-functional teams. A commitment to team collaboration, good communication, and resilient system design is essential.

Mandatory qualifications include at least 2 years of web application development experience, knowledge of system architecture, and experience working on large-scale system maintenance and troubleshooting.

Desired qualifications include experience working as SRE/DevOps, system development and operation using Kafka, Redis, MySQL, and public cloud platforms like Azure and GCP.

We require proficiency in English, with a native level or TOEIC score of 800+.
