About the role

The Four Seasons Hotel Osaka is looking forChief Bakerwho shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. Working inPastry,Chief Bakerreports toExecutive Pastry Chef.

What you will do

  • Assist in the kitchen, contributing to the overall success of the outlet, in accordance with corporate F&B guidelines, Hotel F&B standards and financial goals.
  • Ensures that employees also provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
  • Maximizes employee productivity through the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests.
  • Estimates food consumption and purchases or requisitions of foodstuffs and kitchen supplies.
  • Devises special dishes and develops innovative recipes.

    • What you bring

  • Minimum two years previous experience in culinary/food & beverage line, supervisory or assistant manager positions.
  • Good communication skill.
  • Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
  • Able to communicate in Japanese and English.
