We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Core DPI ( Deep packet Inspection) Engineer with deep expertise in Cloud-Native Network Functions (CNF) to be deployed on the platform. This role is central to designing, validating, and deploying advanced Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) solutions within our 4G/5G core network. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of 3GPP standards, Kubernetes networking, and be proficient in leveraging DPI data for advanced analytics and service KPI formulation. This is a critical role for someone passionate about optimizing network performance, enhancing security, and driving data-driven insights in a cloud-native telecommunications environment.

Responsibilities
- DPI Solution Engineering & Validation and Operation (Robin Cloud & CNF Focus):
- Design and validate new DPI-based solutions and features specifically tailored for deployment on the cloud platform, ensuring alignment with 3GPP standards and network architecture.
- Deploy and manage signature updates and Usage-Based Data (USD) for new business use cases, Lead the deployment and management of DPI-related Cloud-Native Network Functions (CNF) on the platform.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance for efficient software delivery on Cloud-Native & Core Network Expertise:
- Responsible for the E2E integration, validation, and deployment of Parental Control (PTC) solutions ( Network Secure , Endpoint Secure ) in production environments on , leveraging CI/CD pipelines.
- Define, formulate, and analyze DPI service KPIs based on production statistics, providing clear reports and recommendations.
- Create, formulate, and analyze broader Business KPIs based on production statistics, integrating DPI insights.
- Technical Leadership & Documentation:
- Lead technical discussions related to new features, solutions, and architectural enhancements, particularly in the context of and DPI.
- Solution and document Parental Control projects for Network Security initiatives. share knowledge and mentor teammates, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree Proven hands-on experience with Cloud-Native Network Functions (CNF) deployment and management on the cloud platform.
- Expert-level understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) networking principles and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of 3GPP standards, particularly those pertaining to 4G/5G Packet Core and DPI.
- Demonstrated experience with DPI data analysis, including extraction, interpretation, and reporting.
- Proven ability to define, track, and analyze DPI service KPIs. Solid understanding of IP networking principles, routing, switching, and security.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and orchestration. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of the Telco Core Network and 3GPP Core CNF(s), with a focus on Packet Core and DPI technologies. Experience working on applications with a large-scale user base in a commercial environment.
- Specific experience with Allot DPI/DDoS solutions ( SGCE/DM/DSC/NX/SMP) , Network Secure and Endpoint Secure is a significant plus Expertise in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes). Familiarity with Microservices architecture.
- Expert knowledge of telecommunication standards and technologies (4G/5G)
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Japanese) is required.
