Retail Manager

We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our team at {company}.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maximizing the retail business, both short-term and long-term, and creating an optimum retail organization.

• Develop and maximize the retail business from a short-term to long-term perspective.
• Closely work with and facilitate boutique management to formulate, execute, monitor, and fulfill boutique business priorities, ensuring both quantitative and qualitative objectives are achieved.
• Sponsor boutique talent management.
• Take a lead in evolving boutique operations while ensuring quality client experiences.
• Maintain long-term relationships with department stores and external partners by leading business negotiations concerning terms and conditions and promoting collaborations over Gaisho business and fairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement retail strategies to drive business growth.
• Lead and manage boutique teams to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate and maintain relationships with key partners and suppliers.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Requirements:

• Broad experience in luxury retail management.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to formulate and drive retail strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with flexibility and adaptability in English and Japanese.
• Good command of IT tools and applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
