Job Description

Manage a department of Biostatistics and Statistical Programming staff to meet target productivity levels. May lead as site head or functional head. Oversee direct reports, participate in sales meetings, and monitor departmental projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure high-quality deliverables from the Biostatistics department.
• Manage staff, plan work, and direct projects.
• Ensure compliance with strategy and initiatives.
• Control costs and maximize revenue at a client/service group level.
• Define overall strategy and initiatives for service groups or clients.
• Develop and maintain key client relationships.
• Manage risks to project delivery and/or quality.
• Participate in sales meetings, create budgets, and write proposals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Biostatistics or related field and 11 years of relevant experience.
• Master's Degree in Biostatistics or related field and 11 years of relevant experience.
• Ph.D. in Biostatistics or related field and 7 years of relevant experience.

Requirements:

• Broad management knowledge to lead teams.
• Ability to influence others regarding policies, procedures, and goals.
• Familiarity with complex statistical methods and clinical research regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
